Air Ambulance Operations
Medical Training Center (JSOMTC), a former Medical Director for the Fort Hood Army MEDEVAC rescue helicopter service, and an Iraqi Freedom combat veteran. Dr. Ellison is a pioneer and veteran in Emergency Medicine and Aeromedical transport and he understands the need for prompt air ambulance transportation. Dr. Ellison oversees all training programs and is responsible for the overall quality of the medical service. Medical direction through an aviation medicine physician or flight physician is important to ensure that the company abides by a recognized medical standard or best practice that is published, trained to, monitored and updated. Each patient profile is discussed prior to transporting and a custom patient care plan is formulated.
